American First Contracting was chosen to perform the site work at the new Harbor Freight Tools location in Hanover Park. Work includes complete tear out and installation of a new parking lot, while maintaining access to the busy facility, installing storm sewers, light poles and fixtures, new ADA compliant sidewalks and a masonry dumpster.

This high profile project is part of the system designed to keep the Asian Carp from infiltrating Lake Michigan. $1.5M total contract.
Self-performing material supply and finishes and rough carpentry for this $22.5MM renovation and upgrade to the Abraham Lincoln Cemetery in Elwood, IL. American First is performing all carpentry, including drywall, doors and frames, finishes, louver installation and acoustical ceilings for the Honor Guard, Administration, Public Works, and Material Storage Buildings.
Material procurement, supply, product quality control and inventory for the facilities management of an occupied regional medical facility, including an emergency clinic and laboratory, electrical and mechanical systems. $1MM annual facilities management and procurement contract. American First Contracting was awarded the contract to perform construction material procurement, logistics and performance of all the Masonry for the GSA-Recovery State Street South Project, 10 West Jackson, downtown Chicago. The project includes the complete demolition of the interior of the building and remodeling, including new Masonry walls, electrical and mechanical systems and repairing/replacing the granite cladding on the exterior of the building. American First was a subcontractor to Mortenson Construction.
Providing on-site staff including site supervision, labor, construction supply procurement and security for this $220MM complete renovation of the terminal building. American First was a subcontractor to Skanska USA on this project.
